Once again I'm watching Fox's Animation Domination. This week's review is for Family guy.
I'd make my post as long as the show was funny, but there's not a way to write less that nothing.
This episode starts with both improbably advice and a silly premise which lead the family to buying a new Hi-Def tv. An agist and a sexist joke later leads to Lois getting a job as a Prime Time News Reporter for Fox News. It was explained that Lois got a degree in Journalism in college, but has done nothing with it.
Brian being the "moral concious" of the family often talking about economical, social, etc. injustices immediately begins ripping the idea apart. Lois appeases him by bringing him to Fox News, to show him the behind the scenes of the station. Lois Gets her first assingment to spy on Michael Moore. This sends Brian into a rage fit, Lois decides to do the story, from a professional stand point.
Commercial break - Quiznos has a new sandwhich and it looks amazing.
Lois sets out to get the story and in turn gets a shock when she gets to Micheal Moore's home, and discovers Fred Savage. WHAT A TWIST. Apparently Fred Savafe has been pretending to be about eight famous people to quench his thirst for acting. He's proclaimed the GREATEST ACTOR THAT EVER LIVED.
The episode ends, the way the show is famous for ending, with the damily all together in front of the couch. They do a quick evaluation of the week's episode and then the credits roll.
This week was kind of a let down, they played it way safer than normal and i think they missed with this one. I give this episode a 6. Not bad, but not amazing.
Family guy is on Fox sundays at 9pm
